Skiing enthusiasts will find over 40 km of cross-country ski tracks close to the Wannenkopfhütte, and can visit the nearby ski resorts of Grasgehren (6 km) and Balderschwang (13 km). At the end of an eventful day, let the rustic restaurant spoil you with some tasty dishes, typical of the Allgäu region. You can also enjoy your meal around a bonfire or on the terrace in summer or with a glass of mulled wine in winter.

The hotel kindly asks guests to bring towels and house shoes with them. Bed linen is supplied. Please let the hotel know upon booking if you are bringing a dog. Please note that, in order to avoid the risk of rodent and pest infestation, no food or drink should be brought inside the rooms. Please note that the hotel is a 15 to 20-minute uphill from the car park. Sturdy shoes are essential. The hotel is happy to transport guests' luggage from the car park.
