The Remorino is a place with history: It was built in 1967 on a former vineyard by Nelly and Mario Qualizza after their return from Venezuela. A few of the old vines can still be seen today in the garden. Over the years, 2 bordering parcels of land were acquired and the pool and park grounds were added. The train and bus stations are very close. By bus you can reach lovely places, like the Verzasca and Maggia valleys. You cam also take the funicular up to the Madonna del Sasso church and then change to the cable car up to the Cardada. In August you can join the international film festival on the Piazza Grande in Locarno.
